Bismarck Then & Now Pictures: Downtown 4th Street / Osco Drug

4th street in Downtown Bismarck
THEN (1973) NOW (2007)

Downtown 4th Street between Broadway Avenue and Main Avenue. You can clearly see many recognizable businesses in the 1970s picture, including Osco Drug and Richmond's Bootery. You can also see the Grand Pacific Hotel across from the Cowan Building. The building on the far right, next to Osco, was F.W. Woolworth. The building housing Osco Drug in the 1973 picture was initially built in 1930 to house J.C. Penney.
