Built in 1913 to house City National Bank, this building is mostly known for housing F.W. Woolworth until its move to Kirkwood Mall in 1970. Notice the Patterson Hotel in the background. Woolworths was the city's first national retailer. Kirkwood Mall was named for Woolworth executive Robert Kirkwood, who had managed the Bismarck store from 1932-1939. The Bismarck location closed in 1985. Building now houses Shooters Billiards, and for a short time housed Goldies Furniture.
